Work to fund your travels abroad
A Working Holiday Visa gives you the ultimate freedom. It is a residence permit that allows you to stay in a country for 12 months (or up to 24-36 in some cases) and work any job to support yourself. There is no set schedule. You can work for 3 months on a farm, travel for 2 months in a van, and then work for 4 months in a city café.

Canada: Ski resort staff (liftees, instructors), hospitality, tourism guides.
New Zealand: Agriculture, tourism, hospitality.
Self-Funding: You don't need to save for the whole year upfront; you earn as you go.
Flexibility: Change your plans whenever you want. Move cities, switch jobs, or take a month off.
Aged 18–30 (up to 35 for some nationalities/countries).
Valid passport from an eligible country.
Proof of initial funds (usually ~$2,500-$3,500) to get set up
