For the Energetic Extrovert!
Lead, inspire, and explore as a Camp Counselor in the great outdoors
Are you ready to spend your summer in the United States doing something unforgettable, living, working, and laughing at a traditional American summer camp. Camp USA places participants as counselors or support staff in residential camps that focus on sports, arts, outdoor adventure, and leadership.
Summer camps are massive tradition in American culture. For 9 weeks, you will live in a cabin, roast marshmallows, and lead activities for kids in some of the most beautiful locations in the USA. It’s not just a job; it’s a high-energy, immersive experience where you make friends for life.
This is not a desk job. It’s early mornings, big energy, shared cabins, campfires, and lifelong friendships. You live on-site, work as part of a close-knit international team, and become a role model for children and teenagers throughout the summer.
1. Zero Living Costs: Your accommodation (cabin) and all meals are 100% free for the entire summer.
2. Pocket Money: You receive a salary (stipend) to spend on your days off or post-camp travels.
3. Travel Time: Like Work & Travel, you have 30 days grace period after camp ends to explore the USA with your new friends.
General Counselor: You are the "big brother/sister" for a specific cabin of campers. You guide them through their day, ensuring they are safe, happy, and having fun.
Activity Specialist: Do you have a talent? You can teach it! Camps need instructors for Tennis, Swimming, Horse Riding, Gymnastics, Arts & Crafts, Drama, and more.
Camps are located across the United States, often in:
Forest and lake regions
Countryside and national park areas
Traditional summer retreat locations
Think nature, fresh air, and a complete break from city life.
